What Got Me Into Blogging
No particular reason, except that everyone’s doing it. Seriously. Most internet people I know are into it, so I followed suit. Little did I know that blogging is addictive and that I will soon lose sleep over my blog and rankings and stuff. And, the money. How could i forget that I went into blogging because of testimonials of wealth just by keeping a blog.
Why it took me so long to create one:
1. I didn’t know how to start
2. The idea of sharing my private thoughts to the world is repulsive
3. There are better things to do… like live offline. You know.
Why I finally gave in:
1. The challenge of building a website from scratch is strangely compelling
2. I discovered my exhibitionistic side and found that I liked the idea of splashing details of my daily life all over the net
3. Life online isn’t so bad
What I learned so far:
1. Money doesn’t come until after a blog has around hundreds of posts
2. People will do anything to get their blogs noticed
3. HTML is a necessary evil
