Fonts and Colors: the non-CSS savvy way
Another tool that I use to tweak a blog’s CSS is Typetester. I do the tweaking the newbie way. I copy the color codes on my css and look for the corresponding color in the online tool.

The tool has 3 columns where you can compare and contrast several colors all at once. Also, it has a ‘choose font’ option that enables the comparison of different fonts.
This is a completely free tool that you can use any time. I have used it to build several websites in the past and will continue to use it, as long as it remains free.
