The rejoicing, however, stops there. We just did our forex a while ago at the black market near our place and the dollar to peso rate is still 1$ to 40php.
I guess whatever I earn online should stay here until the dollar rates go up again. And no, I’m not being un-nationalistic here. The Philippine economy IS NOT getting stronger at all, but rather, it is the dollar (and the US economy) that is weakening.
