The Internet’s Anatomy
An interesting analogy:
The organ systems are the niches of businesses and weblogs.
The brain that dictates how the organs function represents the biggies in the internet, google and yahoo (and all others I don’t know of).
The heart is the search engine that pumps out the life blood of the whole worldwide web… searches!
For the blood to reach the organs, the heart must be strong. And the veins and arteries must be healthy… as in, search engine optimized!
Where do I belong in this anatomical map of the internet?
Evilwoobie.com could be an active stem cell somewhere in the hypothalamus, the gland in charge of delusions and lusty thoughts.
This blog could be a tiny neuron in the brain. That part in charge of bringing forth a person’s feminine side.

I could go on and on with this analogy, but I just managed to creep myself out. :-)
